Not North Beach, but South Beach!

I was overjoyed When I was asked by Gnomad Troublemaker to accompany her to South Beach for the holidays. What a fabulous time was had by all.

I went on many adventures in South Beach, saw many things and dance and drank my wee booty off. I went sailing, saw some model type people, went for cocktails on a roof top bar and I even took a wee little spill, good thing I had more than enough alcoholic beverages to mask the pain. If you look closely in the pics you can see my hat now has a crack. Don't worry about this Gnome, my crack has been repaired per red Sharpie marker. I'm now good as new and ready for my next adventure.

Can You Smell The Roses!

Happy New Year Gnomads! One of the New Year traditions millions of people partake in every year is the viewing of the Pasadena Rose Parade. This Gnome thought better than try to camp on Colorado Blvd. in the California cold to view the beauty of the floats. So what is a Gnome to do than watch the parade on the boob tube.

Have you ever wondered what happens to the floats after the parade? Well let this Gnome tell you... all the floats are parked and you can take a trip by bus from Pasadena City College to view them.

HOWEVER, this Gnome must have had a wee to much to drink on New Years Eve and used poor judgement. This Gnome thought it would be wonderful to go see the floats on New Years Day! So did everyone else, that wasn't going to the Rose Bowl Game.

So if any of you Gnomads decide to do this in the future take it from this Gnome, go on January 2nd to avoid the crowds. A must see, indeed.
